Stewardmarine was formed in 2004 when it was contracted to deliver all the Moorings charter fleet boats built by Robertson and Caine out of Cape Town to their various worldwide bases. The volume of boats rapidly expanded with the increased output capacity of the factory and the increased demand from the Moorings. Stewardmarine was also contracted by the Moorings private international boat buyers from as far afield as Hong Kong, Australia, Spain, and mainly Miami and Fort Lauderdale. The business expanded even further when the Moorings was taken over by First Choice Marine and the Sunsail fleet also changed over to stocking their fleets with only Robertson and Caine catamarans. 84 boats were delivered out of Cape Town in 2007. 130 boats have been ordered for 2008, The aim for 2009 is 250 boats!
